As Levana and Channary receive half-hearted condolences at their parent's funeral, Levana only has eyes for Evret, a royal guard of her father who she has had a crush on for seven years. After meeting his beautiful wife, Solstice, Levana feels pangs of jealousy at the love they share.

Following the funeral, Levana heads to see Solstice, who works as a popular seamstress. Disguised as a commoner, Levana orders herself gloves and a necklace to wear to the coronation of her sister. As she reveals her true identity to Solstice, Levana realizes she only went there hoping her good deed would get back to Evret.
