Newly anointed Queen Levana is in need of a new Head Thaumaturge, and she can think of no better candidate than her girl Sybil Mira. Despite the lack of confidence she receives from her advisors, Levana is proving to be a most successful queen.

As she discusses her success as Queen with Evret, he plays with a young Winter and listens intently. Evret has concerns about Levana hiding her appearance from her subjects, especially him. But no matter what argument he comes up with for his 'sweetheart', Levana vows to stay behind her veil, and her glamour.
