In this week’s chapters:

Finally, back with Wolf after his abduction, he awakes after dreaming of Ran and Scarlet. Outraged to learn he has become a monster; Wolf is forced to ‘bond’ with a new thauma.

It’s a mere nine hours until the coronation and Cinder, Cress, Iko, Thorn and Jacin are hard at work preparing to crash the party. While studying video surveillance of the outer sectors, the group is horrified to learn the condition of one of their closest friends.

Wolf meets his new thaumaturge, who manipulates his mind into once again pledging his allegiance to the Queen. Wolf fights her control but is soon overpowered and, desperate to avoid pain and suffering, makes his promise to Levana.
