SUMMARY

Cress and Thorne sneak into the palace where the aristocratic Lunars are oblivious to the war raging outside their city. Lunar attire is fascinatingly gaudy and one Lunar in particular notices Thorne.

When Thorne reveals too much to a Lunar woman, Cress is frustrated by his lack of tact. A small fight ignites a huge flame, interrupted by an annoying palace guard. When the guards realize who Cress and Thorne are, they must flea to safety.
