Summary

Kai has helped Cress in her secret mission to help Cinder, and though he is relieved he’s alive, he wishes he could do more. Instead, he makes his way to coronate Levana, the Empress of the Eastern Common Wealth. Levana gives Kai an update on his friends and even brings one to the coronation, but Kai isn’t sure they’re still allies

As Levana struggles to cope with her impending attack, Cinder prepares to siege the city with her supporters. Reunited with Iko at her side and the Wolf Soldiers ready to fight for her, Cinder is filled with anxiety and determination as the barricades open and the revolution battle begins.
