Summary

Cress is pulled out of suspensions after recovering from her injuries during the final showdown with Levana. Though many have come to visit her, Thorne is not one of them and no one has given her updates about him.

But when she arrives at her new suite, Thorne is the first person to knock on her door. A fresh haircut and clean jaw, he is starting to look like the Thorne from his cadet photos online. He comes to Cress, hat in hand, with an apology, a plan, and a hope for their future together. But it’s up to Cress where she wants her life to go next.
