Cress and Thorne have arrived safely on Earth, but their troubles are far from over. Scared and alone, a blind Thorne cuts Cress's hair before they try to work out a survival plan.

Meanwhile, Cinder arrives on Earth to a startled Dr. Erland, accompanied by a Lunar Guard and an unconscious and bloody Lunar OPS. Dr. Erland, although happy to see her, undoubtedly has many questions to ask.
