79 Cress Chapters 29 & 30 (The Lunar Chronicles)

Cinder, with the help of Jacin and the townspeople, are painting the rampion in hopes of making it less recognizable. While Jacin is not a fun painting partner, Cinder enjoys the help of the children, though their admiration for her is making her uncomfortable. Wolf awakens with rage and anguish when he discovers Scarlet has been taken, and Cinder once again feels the guilt and burden of Scarlet's absence.

Back in Kufra, Cress is settling into their hotel room when she finds out their crashed satellite has been discovered, and it's time to go before they are caught.  But when she goes to alert Thorne, he preoccupied with an exotic stranger.  As Cress is heartbroken and locked out of their hotel room, Jina approaches to comfort and offers her help.  Jina tells Cress she knows that Cress is ungifted, and a smug smile is her only warning before Cress is grabbed from behind, and taken against her will.
