Cress arrives at a hotel in a strange town and Gina sells her to a strange doctor with a disturbing room and an unknown agenda.  As the doctor tries to calmly explain to Cress his motives, she finds the inner strength to attack him and run away.

Dr. Erland comes to after being attacked by the strange yet small girl.  He struggles with memories and confusion as he thinks the girl is a phantom from another life.  But one test will show that she is not a phantom at all, but someone he thought he lost long ago.
